Hello friends,
With time changes and weather shifts and all of the activity spring brings, this seems like the perfect moment for the intentional practices of Lent. There’s excitement and hope, maybe there’s uncertainty, too. The beauty of this season is that we are never alone.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus reminds us to “Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” (Matt. 6:26)
Even in these seasons of wandering in the wilderness, God is with us. This week, I invite you to look for God’s provision in your life. Then check in with a loved one and ask how they’ve seen God at work in their life.

Lay Servant Ministries Training in April Join the East Central District for a free virtual Lay Servant Training. Lay Servant training prepares laity to be in ministry through caring, communication and leadership. The key emphasis of Lay Servant Training is equipping and empowering lay servants to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ, who then go and make other disciples. NEW: ECD is offering he Basic Lay Servant Training in Spanish. More info and registration here.
