How is it with your soul?
After a week of preparation, of living in the tension between Palm Sunday and Holy Saturday, we’re finally in the season of Eastertide. For the next 50 days (give or take, depending on when you’re reading this), the Church will celebrate the hope of resurrection. This is also a time of discernment and learning, particularly around spiritual gifts.
Where Lent was a time of learning how to live the way of Jesus and preparing for baptism on Easter Sunday, the extended Easter season is a time to rejoice as the body of the Risen Lord. This season is focusing on core doctrines and mysteries of faith, as well as preparing for the ministries we are called to by the Holy Spirit.
How are you moving through this time of hope and resurrection? How are you preparing for the coming of the Holy Spirit?
