Annual Conference 2026
Laity Session Special Guest: Sarah Wilke
Thursday, June 4 at 10:30am - Branscomb Auditorium
We are thrilled to welcome Sarah Wilke as our special guest for the 2026 Florida Annual Conference Laity Session! Over her 38-year career, Sarah has been a transformative lay leader, serving in pivotal roles across some of the denomination's most impactful institutions — from co-founding Project Transformation, a now-national model for college-internship ministry, to leading the Upper Room Ministries and its 2.2 million worldwide readers, to shepherding Scarritt Bennett Center through transformation and a global pandemic. The daughter of Bishop Richard and Julia Wilke, authors of the beloved Disciple Bible Study series, Sarah now carries that discipleship legacy forward through BeADiscipleApp.com, helping everyday believers grow deeper in faith and community. Her story is a powerful reminder that the laity are not the audience of the Church — we are its hands, its feet, and its voice. Don't miss this opportunity to be inspired and called forward by one of United Methodism's most devoted lay servants.
