faith250: Sacred Bonds, Shared Hopes
faith250 brings together multifaith clusters of congregations to study and engage with America's foundational texts — the Declaration of Independence, the Gettysburg Address, Emma Lazarus's "The New Colossus," and more. What started as a small initiative has grown to 39 clusters of 254 congregations across the country. The work is clergy-led and locally rooted, bringing together neighbors of different faiths around texts that matter. We are hosting a live conversation as a way of modeling how studying these texts in a multifaith setting can deepen civic engagement. Learn more on our website and subscribe to our Substack.

What does love have to do with civics? Rabbi Michael Holzman will explore that question with Bishop Tom Berlin, Resident Bishop of the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church, in a live conversation as part of the faith250 Perspectives series on June 10, 2026 at 1pm ET. The discussion will also include a brief introduction to faith250 and an invitation to join the 254 congregations in 39 clusters across the country using the program to engage in multifaith dialogue during the 250th anniversary of America.
