Nominee for Conference Co-Lay Leader

The Conference Board of Laity has nominated Warren Pattison for the next Conference Co-Lay Leader of the Florida Conference. He currently serves as the Gulf Central District Lay Leader, and if elected at AC24, he will succeed Alice Williams who has served as co-Lay Leader for the last four years. Warren Pattison is a beloved child of God, husband, father, and self-proclaimed Star Wars fanboy. He has served three churches in the areas of worship arts, young adult ministry, and adult discipleship. Warren currently serves as the Director of Adult Ministries at First UMC Lakeland where has been on staff for 15 years. He has served as the Gulf Central District Lay Leader for the last seven years. His ministry passions include encouraging and equipping laity to respond to their callings, justice work, adult discipleship, and transformative men’s ministry.

As a classically-trained violist, Warren frequently offers music in worship services and in the community in various ensembles, including as a professional member of the Lakeland Symphony Orchestra.

He and his beautiful bride Angie have been happily married for 27 years. They are parents to their son Luke and their furry canine family member, Nugget.
